About Hot Pod Pro

Subscribe to Hot Pod Pro, and maintain your clear read of the podcast industry.

Here’s what you get as a subscriber:

More News, Analysis, and Writing. The news pace is picking up for the growing podcast industry. Not everything is going to make it into the free weekly Hot Pod newsletters, so keep up with the Hot Pod Pros. Drops on Thursday and Saturday mornings ET.

Members-Only Forum. Meet other Hot Pod readers, discuss the latest news, connect, and maybe collaborate.

Hot Pod Dossier. I’m opening up one of my reporting tools for members: my spreadsheets containing key numbers about podcast companies and the podcast space that I gather when I research the space. [Update on this feature: Had to put this on the back-burner for a while due to some technical issues. It’ll be back soon.]

You can donate at two different levels, depending on your ability:

Or subscribe annually:

If you’d like to create multiple subscriptions and manage them under one user — perhaps you’d like to get Hot Pod Pro for several employees of your company — contact me directly. (We can even work out a corporate discount.)

What do you use to process credit card transactions?

I use Memberful, which is the same platform used by Gimlet Media, Ben Thompson’s Stratechery, and The Timmerman Report. It’s safe, secure, and really, really easy to navigate. Payments are secured by Stripe.

How can I cancel my subscription?

Sorry to see you go! Okay, so to cancel, you need to go to the Home Page and look for the widget on the right side called “Member Account.” If you’re signed in, click the “Account” link, then the “Subscriptions” tab, and then click “Turn off auto-renewal.” You won’t be charged next month, and your access to The Thing will end on that billing cycle.

If you’re still having trouble, write me:

I don’t live in the United States. Can I still sign up?

Hot Pod lives on the Internet. So yes, you can!
